Hi, I downloaded the sintel_face_rig.blend to test a script i have to limit the number of deform weights per vertex. This is necessary when exporting to game engines that limit the number of deform bones (usually to 4). Facial expressions are probably not a use case because they usually require more def weights per vertex, but I wanted to try my script on a real-world file.
However, the weight paint tools panel where I placed my limit-weights button is greyed out when I load the .blend file. Not just mine, but all the tools eg Normalize, Clean, Levels etc. Is there a way to unlock these weight paint tools so i can test my work?
